Fiberglass Cast Tape

Vive Health Fiberglass Cast Tape is a knitted fiberglass material with a water-activated polyurethane resin, made for orthopedic casting that immobilizes broken bones and injured limbs. The resin cures quickly once wet, and the tape bears weight in about 20 minutes, so a cast can be applied and put to use without a long wait.

Its stretch lets the tape conform smoothly around limbs for a precise fit without excess bulk, while the porous weave supports airflow and the lightweight cured structure keeps the cast easy to handle. The non-tacky, non-toxic resin simplifies application, and the tape is available in 2 in. x 4 yd. and 3 in. x 4 yd. rolls in black.

Materials & care

• Storage: Store cast tape in its sealed pouch at 59–86°F (15–30°C). Keep dry and avoid puncturing the packaging.
• Maintenance / Cleaning: Keep cast clean and dry.
• Do not submerge in water.
• Wipe surface lightly with a damp cloth if needed.
• Avoid lotions, powders, and heat sources.

How to use
