Vive Bariatric Wheelchair 600 lbs

The Vive Health Bariatric Wheelchair is a reinforced mobility chair built on a black powder-coated steel frame with dual crossbar support, rated for users up to 600 lbs. It comes in three extra-wide seat widths so caregivers can match the chair to the user's needs while keeping the same stable platform.

Swing-away, height-adjustable footrests and removable armrests make lateral transfers and positioning easier, while the 19.5-inch floor-to-seat height, 16-inch seat depth and 18-inch backrest support extended sitting in clinical, facility and home care settings. Rear wheels ship detached to keep the carton compact, and a socket wrench and standard wrench are included for assembly.

Sizing & fit

The chair is offered in 26", 28" and 30" seat widths, each with a 16" seat depth, and all sizes carry the same 600 lb weight capacity. The seat sits 19.5" from the floor, the backrest is 18" high and the total height is 36".

How to use

• Install the two 24" rear wheels on delivery using the included socket wrench, holding the standard wrench for counter-torque.
• Swing the footrests away for transfers, then swing them back and adjust their height for the user's position.
• Remove the armrests when a lateral transfer is needed.
• Inspect the wheel assemblies and brakes regularly and tighten hardware as needed after assembly.
