Vive Care Xeroform Petrolatum Dressing is a sterile, non-adherent wound dressing impregnated with 3% bismuth tribromophenate in a petrolatum blend. The petrolatum base helps maintain a moist wound environment and keeps the dressing from sticking to the wound bed, while the bismuth component helps manage wound odor.

Made from flexible woven mesh gauze that is latex-free, the dressing conforms to different anatomical areas and can be trimmed to fit the wound. Each dressing is gamma-sterilized and individually sealed for single-use application, and the product is available in multiple sizes and pack counts to suit clinical, facility, or home care needs.

Highlights

  • Bismuth-Impregnated Antimicrobial Dressing: Formulated with 3% bismuth tribromophenate, the dressing helps inhibit bacterial growth and manage wound odor. This supports a cleaner wound environment during the healing process.
  • Petrolatum-Based Moisture Barrier: The petrolatum infusion helps maintain a moist wound environment, which is commonly used in wound care management. This barrier also helps prevent the dressing from adhering to the wound bed.
  • Non-Adherent, Atraumatic Removal: Designed to minimize sticking to the wound surface, the dressing allows for easier removal during changes. This supports patient comfort and helps reduce disruption to the wound area.
  • Flexible, Conformable Gauze Design: The woven mesh structure allows the dressing to conform to various anatomical areas. It can also be cut to size to accommodate different wound shapes and sizes.
  • Sterile, Individually Packaged Units: Each dressing is gamma-sterilized and individually sealed to support hygienic handling and single-use application.
