Island Dressing (Sterile)

Vive Care sterile island dressings are adhesive-bordered gauze pads that cover and protect minor cuts, wounds, and scrapes from contamination and infection. The soft, breathable border holds the gauze securely in place and removes easily without pulling or damaging surrounding skin.

The ultra-absorbent, nonadherent center cushions the wound while absorbing drainage, making the pads suitable for mild to moderate exuding wounds such as minor cuts, surgery incisions, pressure sores, and ulcers. Each pad is individually wrapped and sterile, and the latex-free construction makes them a practical addition to any first aid kit at home, school, or office.

Sizing & fit

This listing is for the 4" x 4" size. The central absorbent pad measures 2.0" x 2.0" with a border thickness of 0.37mm and a pad thickness of 1.7mm.

How to use

Clean and dry the wound area before applying. Peel back the release paper and place the absorbent center pad directly over the wound, then press the adhesive border firmly against the surrounding skin to hold it in place. Remove by gently lifting the border.
