The SoftCaire Alternating Pressure Pump and Pad with Flaps is a complete alternating pressure mattress system designed to help redistribute pressure across the body. The pump uses A/B alternating cycles every 10 to 12 minutes and delivers an air output of 5 liters per minute, with a dial that lets you set the pressure anywhere from 45 to 110 mmHg.
The pad is built from medical-grade PVC with 130 bubble cells measuring 2.5 inches each, and its end flaps secure the pad to the bed while hooks attach the pump to the bed frame. The inflated pad measures 78.74 inches long by 35.43 inches wide by 2.56 inches high and supports up to 280 lbs, and a repair kit is included for minor fixes.
