The Rhythm Healthcare Softcaire Simple Digital EC Alternating Pressure Mattress pairs a digital pump with a cell-on-foam mattress to redistribute pressure across 17 five-inch PVC air bladders set over a three-inch foam base. The A/B alternating cycle runs every 10 minutes, and the foam base keeps support in place during a power outage or patient transport.

The two-way stretch top cover is low-shear, water-resistant, vapor-permeable and anti-microbial, while the pillow function fills three static head cells for comfort. A quick-connector cap holds inflation, spring-loaded anti-kink tubes reduce service calls, and the CPR function allows one-handed rapid deflation.

Materials & care

The top cover is a two-way stretch nylon/PU quilted cover with zipper that is water-resistant, vapor-permeable and anti-microbial. The air cells and base are made of nylon/PVC.

How to use

Connect the pump to the mattress using the spring-loaded anti-kink tubes and set the desired pressure on the digital control. The static function with auto-return maintains a steady setting, and the CPR function allows one-handed rapid deflation when needed.
