Rhythm SoftCaire EC Alternating Pressure Mattress System (With Foam Base)

The SoftCaire EC Alternating Pressure Mattress System pairs a 17-cell alternating mattress with a 3-inch foam base to deliver continuous pressure support. Each of the 17 air bladders alternates in an A/B pattern, while the head zone uses three fully inflated static cells to form a pillow function for patient comfort.

The system includes a pump with dial weight setting control, a 30-60 mmHg pressure range, and a 10-minute cycle time, plus a quick connector with cap that keeps the mattress inflated during power outages or transport and a one-handed CPR function at the head end for rapid deflation.

Materials & care

The cover is made of quilted nylon/PU with a zipper, while the air cells and base are nylon/PVC. The pump case is flame retardant ABS. The mattress meets CA117 / CFR 1632 flame retardant standards.

How to use

Set the pump's dial weight setting control to the desired pressure within the 30-60 mmHg range. The system alternates in an A/B pattern with a 10-minute cycle time. Use the quick connector with cap to keep the mattress inflated during power outages or patient transport, and the one-handed CPR function at the head end for rapid deflation in emergencies.
