The SoftCaire DX Bariatric Delux System is a 20-cell alternating pressure mattress system with a cell-on-cell design, combining 10-inch TPU air bladders with laser-drilled low air loss therapy to redistribute pressure and protect against power outages and patient transport. Its premium digital pump delivers 12 liters per minute of air output with auto-sensing technology that adjusts pressure to the patient's weight, plus adjustable cycle times, seat-inflate, static, and max-firm modes.

The mattress measures 80 by 42 by 10 inches when inflated and supports up to 660 pounds, with a two-way stretch top cover that is low shear, water-resistant, vapor-permeable, and anti-microbial. A quick connector with cap keeps the mattress inflated during power loss or transport, while the CPR function allows one-handed rapid deflation, the pillow function uses three static head cells for comfort, and the heel function deflates a single cell to float vulnerable heels.

Materials & care

Wipe the cover with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the mattress is fully dry before storage.

How to use

Place the mattress on a compatible bed frame, connect the pump using the quick connector with cap, and plug the pump into a 120V / 60 Hz outlet. Use the digital control panel to set the desired pressure, cycle time, and mode. The CPR function allows for one-handed rapid deflation in emergencies.
